An Artist-Run Gathering happening online
August 3 to 8, 2021

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Lands to Travel Through will share the work of artists, writers, community organizers, and others who are contributing to the ongoing work of re-imagining our world. Lands to Travel Through will feature core presentations by Faye HeavyShield and Dr. Kim TallBear, alongside curated projects by artist Christina Battle, Ociciwan Contemporary Art Collective, and Lands to Travel Through’s planning committee.

Renegotiating our relationship to resources by centering conversations, practices of care, and strategies for recovery and remediation, Lands to Travel Through presents a series of opportunities to come together and design models for how to be, otherwise.

Lands to Travel Through is an artist-run gathering that will take place online. This event is organized by the Alberta Association of Artist-run Centres (AAARC) and is presented in partnership with the Artist-Run Centres and Collectives Conference (ARCA).

We are committed to making Lands to Travel Through accessible to our many communities. As such, registration is by volunteer donation only.
